The all new EXR Fresh Water Rods is the most evolved rod that has ever been made by Albright. Taking the EXS Rod to the next level took about 15 months of testing and multiple iterations to get the desired performance and action from this new Series. Initially we will only offer this Rod in 2 models a 9'5wt 4pc and a 9'8wt 4pc so we can get them into select Anglers hands, for additional comments at this time. We feel very confident but the true test is when they start to sell and get fished by our customers who are the true critics. The rod utilizes IM9 Graphite along with a unique new cross weave scrim making this new rod significantly lighter, stronger and easier to cast for anglers of all skill levels. The EXR- FW series offers an entirely new level of performance with unprecedented line feel with greater fish fighting strength. Taking the rod to even greater heights we teamed up with REC Components and designed a custom Nickel Silver Reel Seat with a unique new burled maple wood insert to add a level of elegance to this series that is now unmatched in terms of price and performance. This collaboration allows us take the best elements of rod design and manufacturing and couple it with superior components that are made in the USA. We are going exclusively with the RE-coil Guides for added performance and quality that will now be unmatched in the Fly Industry.
